Description Her heart began to sink as she crept through the shadows of the night. Wondering on down the street without a care in the world, her mind seemed oddly blank and boring. Unusual for one usually filled with though, she continued on with her head bowed low, staring at her feet and the cracks in the concrete beneath them. She glanced up at the moon for a moment, her eyes suddenly flooding with emotion; she looked ahead, moving on with a slightly quicker pace. Her feet seemed to hit the ground harder with every step, a hidden rage quickly building within her. She clenched her fists as she disappeared into the shadows. Peering around endlessly, she searched for her next victim. As an innocent figure passed beneath a nearby street light, she made her move. Emerging from the shadows she walked silently behind the young man. More concerned with where he needed to be, he paid no mind to his sudden hostile stalker. With a wicked smirk and a quickened pace she reached around, placing her hands over his mouth as they passed through a shadow. Panicked, he gripped her wrist, trying to pull her hand away from him, but she wouldn’t give up so easily. She dragged him back into a darker shadow as he struggled and tried to yell from beneath her tight grip upon his mouth. A sudden blood lust began controlling her senses as she forced him to turn and face her. She was controlled by a hidden rage that crawled deep beneath her skin. She smirked, the moon barely able to reflect off of her fangs from within the shadows. His eyes widened with horror and it only encouraged her further. She slammed him against the wall of the dark alley, entranced by the pulse in his neck. She stared into his eyes and he froze in her gaze. Unable to control herself any longer, she placed the kiss of death upon his neck. Slowly sinking her fangs into the main artery, she placed an arm on his lower back, supporting him as his blood rushed into her mouth. Her senses tingled as the warm blood began to pulse within her veins, spreading throughout her quickly, giving her new life. She savored the taste as each drop trickled over her taste buds. She frowned as her victim’s heart began to slow more on the verge of death. She broke away from the kiss, laying him gently on the ground. She ran her cold hand along his eyelids, closing them as his heart slowed to a stop. Her anger was at bay, and slowly she stood. Staring up at the moon for a few moments, she turned, quickly fading into the shadows. To travel on, lost within a world of madness.
