Can you recommend a program that doesn't make the coloring look childish. What program do you use?

I use a very old version of Photoshop: 5.5. It's really little more than a canvas, brushes, colors, and some tools, but it takes a lot of practice and experimenting to learn. It's from back around 1998, though, and Photoshop has come a long way since then. I'm afraid I know virtually nothing about any other programs or recent upgrades, though, so I can't be very helpful there. ^__^;;;
