lol, so the subject came up about how I would customize a My Little Pony if I had a white one to paint on, and I remembered this old experiment. Dug it out and scanned it just for the fun of it. It's not an MLP, and I don't remember how long ago it was drawn (ages and ages), but yeah...never leave green markers in my vicinity! XDRelated content

You said you didn't know how long ago this was drawn, so maybe my critique is out-of-date, but the body of the horse looks fairly one-dimensional. Not so much in key areas such as the neck and the back legs, but it really shows along the top of the back. The patterns are beautiful, though, and the hair is gorgeous!

Oy...this was drawn maybe ten years ago? ^__^;;; I am WELL aware that it is horrible, and not at all in any league with my current work. It was dug out and posted as a response to someone wondering how I might design a My Little Pony toy.

Interesting... Looking at how it was done, I would assume that its a fairly old piece of yours... I would love to see you try and tackle this experiment again! I would expect the result to be breathtaking. Although I really do love this version as well!

I know absolutely nothing about customizing ponies, I'm afraid. ^__^;;

In theory it's not very hard, it all depends on how much you want to customize it. I rehair using a tool that cuts down the time to maybe an hour. Painting is done with acrylic paints and paint brushes. It can be just like doing a regular acrylic painting if you wanted to. I have one that's like that. The complicatedness comes with doing things like sculpting and hair styling. I would totally supply the bait and to the rehair if you wanted to make one
