Dr Soo Chin joined in the opprobrium. “I should have been attending your lecture on genetics this morning, sir,” the woman wailed, “not helping tie you up!”
Yang, bound to a chair and seated humiliatingly in the middle of the ward in full view of staff and patients whike he waited to be hauled away by hospital security, had no words of explanation for the devastated women who had captured him and also ended his career.
