He's really handsome, and sexy! <3 But aside from the fangirl this character is beginning to bring off in me. I really adore the anatomy here, and the sort of sketchy style to it. Plus, the octopus you drew kicks major ass.

The hand thats holding onto the spear, his fingers nearest his thumb, looked abit, squashed and to me, there appears to be a 5th finger sneaking in...xD whoops

Yeah it's dreadlock-braids like you said it. They're mostly pretty thin but I wanted to keep the conversion between tentacles and real hair natural so I tried to go for roughly the same look. It came out okay I think!
As for the hand, I just noticed, you're right!
It's most likely because I redrew that hand a lot of times and the sketches piled on top of each other - both the squish and the extra finger is probably residue that I didn't manage to remove. Oh well, can't make perfect, can I!
