Long-time, no see.
I kinda miss the old days of Tomodachi on Vinesauce, back when Vinny wasn't so apathetic about it, or at least vented his boredom into more interesting things.

Long time, no see, indeed! Damn, I need to be more active on here, or really with drawing in general.
Yeah, I agree with you on that. When he started Tomodachi he seemed to be amused or interested in all the oddities and interactions his little miis had with each other and our Vinèsauce's look alike; however, as time when on, I guess the game just became monotonous to him. Which, I can understand. I mean, there's only so much one can experience in the game. I have Tomodachi Life myself, and really, apart from trying to collect all the clothes, food, and apartments, I only look forward to when someone falls in love with another.

Agreed. If I did a play of that, or other life-sim games, I'd probably do some conspicuous editing to make it interesting for me and my viewers, but nothing intrusive to the actual goings-on in-game, not until they come out with the Nintendo version of Rockstar Editor.

Do you think Nintendo would ever implement something like Rockstar Editor to their system? They always seems a little slow on the uptake when it comes to letting fans alter or create something new out of their content. I have no idea why Japanese Nintendo hoards their brands, shutting down anything that uses their characters that might be successful. I mean, I 100% get it when money's involved, but many of the projects were completely free. Hmm, is it some sort of fear? I think they are getting better though, time will tell.
Speaking about editing, Southbird does some nice editing to his cut down versions of the playthroughs. Have you seen his Vinesauce Tomodachi Life compilation ? It's got some nice little droplets of editing in there that creates some interest. Then again, I laugh at the most stupid things, so...take that as you will.

Disney seems to have the same sort of hoarding, so I think it is mostly a money and branding thing. I haven't seen a lot of backlash from them about most Gmod and SFM Machinimas featuring Nintendo characters, but then they can't capture everyone, and mostly they seem content with monetization off of it.
I love Southbird's videos; he brings life into a lot of his touches. Trouble is that it's his liveliness that had me not convinced he'd make a good streamer. Joel has a better mix of liveliness and cynicism.
