Description

"March 12, 1967: I have received a telegram from the Science Patrol; they have made a remarkable discovery in orbit around the Earth. The lifeless bodies of the dozens of monsters Ultraman slew the previous year were floating silently within the void. The area has been dubbed “The Monster Graveyard”, and every monster within the area has been positively identified, save for the decomposing, skeletal remains of a single beast, which appears far older than the other remains in the vacuum. It has been suggested that this beast was slain on another planet before Ultraman arrived on Earth.

In other news, the first remotely-controlled rocket to Mars has been launched. I wish those men in charge of the rocket nothing but the best of fortunes!

March 13: Disaster has struck! The rocket to Mars has impacted with the body of the unidentified monster, and both the monster and the rocket have crashed into a residential area of Fukuoka. Making things worse, the giant creature’s corpse has somehow been revived by exposure to Earth’s atmosphere, and the decomposing, skeletal titan is alive again. The beast clambered a single skyscraper, but crashed back to Earth after jumping from the peak. Surprisingly, the monster – which has been dubbed “Seabozu” by the local news media – left the city in peace and quietly wandered the countryside afterwards. When darkness fell, the Science Patrol launched a halfhearted attack upon it, but realized that the attack was doing nothing but antagonizing the peaceful beast. The Science Patrol has hypothesized that the creature merely wishes to return to the Monster Graveyard, as it has spent most of its time gazing up at the stars and uttering high, mournful wails...

March 14: Ultraman has attempted to fly Seabozu into space, but ran out of strength before the struggling, desperate beast could be taken back into the Monster Graveyard.

March 16, 3:45 PM: I have arrived in Japan, and have discovered that the remants of the Mars rocket are being reassembled into a specialized construct designed to launch Seabozu back into the Monster Graveyard. The plan is tenuous, at best, but it-hold it-…

5:16 PM: It is over. Ultraman has forced Seabozu to hold onto the rocket, and the tragic brute is slumbering in the Monster Graveyard once more.

October 17, 2009: it was recently confirmed that Seabozu was one of the monsters forced into conscription in Ultraman Belial’s army. After Belial’s defeat, I can only hope that Seabozu can rest in peace once more…"

Reality check: this is Seabozu, a monster from "Ultraman". I do not own the rights, Tsuburaya Productions does, etc...
