YEEEE!! My baby girllllll :3333 heere's velvet!!!! number 10 on the PAW patrol team!!! (my numbers are different for my AU, the velvetverse~!)
It took me a whiiileeee to finish her but her bday turns out to be on christmas noww!!! yeee!!!!!!!

But, I couldn't have done all this without Musicalmutt2 . She helped me a lot with her info, and she's my number one inspiration!

Personality:
Velvet is a sweet, kind, plucky and mostly mischievous red husky. She absolutely loves hanging around with her friends and she’d do almost anything for them. She can get way too hyperactive when she’s happy/ excited. Her bravery is unstoppable-but she only shows it out when she really has to. Otherwise she’s a soft pup like any other. She can also be extremely sassy, competitive and fiery at times, but only when she needs to.

Bio:
Velvet came from an un-named town with her owner and her large husky family. She lived a very happy and comfortable life back there until a huge flood had striked and her owner tried to evacuate the house, but she was too late and the entire house was washed away along with her owner and family. She was washed away all the way to adventure bay and she had been adopted by many people and thrown out the very next day. It was when she joined the PAW patrol, that she re-united with her elder sister Everest; she was astonished and excited to see her again after a really long time. She even re-united with her cocoa husky cousin- Tundra. Together these 3 huskies call themselves ‘The Husky Trio’ or ‘Husky Sisters’. They’re always seen playing or talking together in the lookout. She’s very close with Skye as well, they love hanging out and teasing each other.

After being washed into adventure bay, she found herself in adventure bay’s beach. She was lying unconscious and didn’t have much to do. The PAW patrol pups were having a calm beach day and the boys- Tracker, Rocky, Rubble, Marshall and Zuma were playing beachball next to the shore. Tracker eyed the red husky lying helplessly, and he approached her. He went close to her and before even he tried to wake her up, she had sensed him coming and woke up with a heavy adrenaline rush. She wasn’t familiar with other pups, so she was a bit terrified and she stood still ready to rush looking at tracker with her big, crystal blue eyes. Tracker reached out his paw to say hello but then she rushed away, pushing the sand with her back legs and fast as her legs could carry her-without even saying a single word. Tracker chased her all the way to the end of the beach and she finally terminated her run, but she was gazing at the shimmering blue water near the shore and she flipped her ears back and forth- just like how tracker would do. Then she immediately ran back inside the beach and warned everybody over there to leave. The visitors weren’t ready to listen to her as they didn’t trust her much. But in a few minutes, there came a huge wave and filled the entire beach with water, causing to flood almost the entire area around the beach. Luckily, The PAW patrol was here to rescue everybody. All the pups rescued the visitors of the beach but then something just hit trackers mind- the red husky was still in danger, struggling to let herself free from those strong currents. Without thinking twice, Tracker rushed to the shore without telling anybody or getting anyone’s help. He soon pulled her out of the water and rescued her with a little help of the PAW patrol. That was the time she was accepted into the team for being so courageous and detecting changes in the weather.

Ever since the incident, Velvet’s been having a slight interest on Tracker.

Job:
Her job is to detect changes in weathers, give precautions for bad weather or save the people from harsh weather. She also has a great interest in music, which explains the reason that the lightning bolt in her tag is shaped like that. She sometimes even tries to help with music for concerts, performances, shows etc.

Appearance:
Velvet is a Siberian husky with bright red fur being her primary pelt and pure white being her secondary pelt. All four of her paws are white. Her red fur coat stops on her front-legs but it goes till the white paws on her back-legs. Similar to Everest, she has white markings on her face and her tufts are raised. She has dark crimson-coloured ears with white inside ears and she has copper sulphate blue eyes. She has an irregularly shaped marking on her back, similar to the colour of her ear and she has a slightly dark red nose. Her tail is extremely fluffy and curls almost 360 degrees!

Uniform:
Velvet’s uniform is copper sulphate blue with purple linings on her sleeve and the end of her uniform has fluffy elastic like the ones in winter caps. The 2 sides of her uniform has one flap each with a blue colour, purple borders, a purple button and white-lines to end with. The forward part of her uniform is stitched with dark purple rain coat-like material, and her zippers are shining metal blue. Her paws have blue colours bands with purple borders from which her rainboots pop out. Her collar is purple with a blue pup tag having a cloud and musical note-shaped thunder bolt. Her helmet has dark-blue straps with a perwinkle-coloured circle that connects the segments of the strap. Her helmet is also copper sulphate blue with purple linings at the border of the helmet and perwinkle, purple and white arcs appearing from the paw patrol symbol on her helmet. Her helmet also has a visor tinted with very light blue and lined with blue rims. Her pup pack consists of dark-purple pop-out wings similar to Skye’s and has a smaller section on the top which provides other tools for weather detection. Her pup pack is blue and perwinkle which consists of white double-lines.

Friends/relationships with other pups:

Everest: Everest is her elder sister whom she always looks up to. both of them love each other to death and Everest always ensures that velvet is safe in all her missions. Everest can get a bit over-protective with velvet but velvet never complains about it.

Tundra: Tundra is Velvet’s elder cousin. Ever since their puphood, Tundra loved playing ‘tag’ with Velvet which brought both of them a lot of memories till today. Tundra always makes sure she helps her little cousin sister and takes good care of her no matter what.

Tracker: Ever since the major flood hit adventure bay, Velvet always had an interest on him, and Tracker too, seemed to like velvet as much as her. The both of them try to get closer and closer day by day by talking it out.

Rocky: Velvet has a brotherly sense to all the pups, but especially Rocky, and that’s because Rocky has been looking out for Velvet and treating her just like her own little sister. Being one of the runts of the PAW patrol, Velvet’s vulnerable to a lot of consequences but Rocky always makes sure she’s safe.

Marshall: Velvet has a teasy little relationship with Marshall and also has a brotherly sense to him. They always keep teasing each other about something or the other or Velvet always talks about how he makes her laugh a lot.

Skye: Velvet and Skye are really close. They keep chatting during the mission free hours and always talk about their interests. They love playing skip-rope together and as even Velvet knows how to backflip, they both do it together. They have a lot of common interests.

She has a brotherly sense and friendly relationship to all the pups in the paw patrol and could always count on them whenever needed.

Catchphrases:

“When the weather’s clear, there’s nothing to fear!”

Flood, earthquake or bad weather, we’ll safely make it together!”

“Let’s stay away from the storms before it forms!”

she doesn’t really have a specific fear, Though she’s sometimes afraid of large fires.

She was initially meant to be a Labrador, but I just changed it overtime~

Velvet and Tracker share each others feelings only after both of them become 6
Her vehicle is a closed helicopter which I’ll be drawing soon
She absolutely loves the rainy season and loves getting drenched while playing in the rain
Her pup tag was different when I started drawing her but I was feeling a bit iffy about it and changed it now
Her design was supposed to be exactly like Everest but red instead of the purple but I just thought it wouldn’t look unique that way so I made a few changes.
