I'm not an avid fan I just watch it cause the parodies are preety hilarious and I wanted see the bull shit on "if saiyans faced near death they become stronger" and low and behold it was in the series.
Especially that bit with vegeta and trunks by TFS "I finally become super saiyan blue and you just diye your hair blue?! I'll slap your shit boy!"

How bad is Super for you? Aside from the nostalgia of the original series and crappy animation edits(which is in every animated show so I don't think that's a definitive factor over it) why is it so bad? Evo is understandable but super brought a lot of interesting things. Super saiyan blue. Goku black. The gods of destruction. Piccolo and vegeta being preety stand up guys as the series go on (it was a really sweet I have to give IT at that) and also it dumps some stuff from GT and makes it work for super
Also I have an art idea for your next March of robots post if your interested in another idea
