Just a few drawings I had in my sketchbook. I need to get that whole thing scanned and perma-recorded... hah! Most of this stuff is done in pen. A couple were pencil when I ran out of ink.. (but pen is my fav)I love doing these studies because it gives me good ideas for posing my characters - many times Ill draw the model 3 or 4 times and ill be able to redraw the pose perfectly from memory. By the 4th time I draw the pose, I really understand how the body weaves itself together.. if that makes sense...

When you say pen, its like a Bic pen (like the pen i have on my gallery btw

but its ballpoint, very fun to draw with - shows all your mistakes which you can learn from

One teacher i had on the first class grabbed all the erasers from everyone and literally got rid of them, so we would see our mistakes

I've drawn from live models and my old tutor would've creamed at these pictures. telling so much with so few lines, its really impressive.
