Description
Everything is in the title: this small torn and dessicated trunk is the core of an old juniper. I saw it in an undergrowth, and I was just amazed by its tormented shape.Lens : Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 @ F/2.8 + Panagor FD to EOS mount adapter
Review by ~Smurfage , written to me after I submitted to a group, I post it here because I think it is quite interesting and useful.
"Interesting take on a common theme! Nice work there. Honestly, the diagonal here makes us stare for too long wondering what the subject/meaning is, since it's quite obscure! It is nicely framed though. What you may consider is adjusting the exposure and contrast, so it's not so dark overall, and make the lighter parts lighter. It could almost look like a lightning bolt coming out of the ground! As is, it's confusing and hard for us to recognize a subject, so we're not inclined to accept it. It's almost better geared for abstract!"

Love it. Don't know whether it's flippin' me off or what, but my twisted mind sees the creature underneath!!
