Yes, that's me. Yes, I have a fair amount of lurve for this cosplay. Yes, I'm rather braggy about it. You'll pardon my spazzing.

I don't much care if people are interested in this or not, I just wanted something of a log of my struggles with this thing. I started the first gun a week before Ycon 2006 with noooo idea how much work it would be. I finished it the day of Tales of Anime, about half a year later. The recent hair piece also took the better part of a school semester to tie all the individual hair extension strands into a piece of fine mesh. The final coat was modified from the McCall's Matrix coat pattern from JoAnne's and done from scratch. Lots of attention to details and it's taken me this long to consider it complete, not including tiny adjustments like buying a new pair of gloves and trying to make the authentic buttons with the Nobodies symbol on it.

I wasn't even that much of a Kingdom Hearts fan when I decided to make it, though I had played through both PS2 games. This costume has changed my life for the better, quite literally. I've met all my cosplay friends with this thing, I fell in love with Xigbar and the Organization and joined RPs where I've met other amazing people. It's a very important thing to me and I've put a hell of a lot of work into it.

As a side note because I'm also proud of it but don't want to submit a separate photo, I helped make Demyx's sitar. She basically bought and arranged the materials, but got stuck when it came to cutting out the wood and actually assembling it, which is where I came in. It was great fun to work with her. ^^<3

I tried to keep all the watermarks on the pictures, but there were a couple that didn't have any. I have lost the source for the one at Yaoi-con , so if you happen to know it please lemme know. The picture from PMX with Demyx was gotten here: [link]
