Description
I tried to leave this one rather open ended for interpretation: either it could be viewed as the attempt to flee from a destructive beam, or an attempt to travel into a portal and excape from the surrounding.Heavily inspired by ID4; tboth in the form of thier main weapon, and the escape scene from the mother ship.
Made in bryce3d with a lot of touch ups in photoshop. Don't tell me to do some crazy 2d or typography, because I don't like that.

First of all, the dodging the destructive beam really trips me out, which is a good thing!
Secondly...if you're tryin to escape the surrounding through that porthole, you're not gonna make it!
This is very well done. Great color choices and balance. And I am so down with it not having ANY type. Sometimes those 2D "console" things are really just over the top annoying. Great piece.

wuuhooo. tthis is awesome. the metalic blues and grays, along with all the chrome, and all the shapes and ambient light. This image feels like it should be moving and morphing, like everything around the boarder of the pic is kind of moving in ominously to the center. Very, very cool admin. I love coming to your gallery every now and then, seeing you progress with your work.

Actually that was there in the origional render, but I brought it out with photoshop, and used 6 layers to light/color it.
