It could always anchor in the harbour,Titanic did that in Cherbourg and Cork because the harbours were not deep enough for such a big ship then

An interesting idea. I would like that sight, as well as seeing Titanic entering the New-York harbor as it was supposed to do about a century ago.
Unfortunately, I fear this will remain a pipe dream... But hope is not forbidden!
Now in my opinion, I think there's something wrong with the light. Titanic seems a little too dark compared to the light coming from the reflection of the bridge in the water. Just my humble opinion, a critique is after all not always a very good one. But still, I like it!

nice picture, you know If Mr. Palmer follows through with his plans this is really a plausible picture that could happen some day.Β Β Β

But he won't. It was just another "Palmer" publicity stunt, his project will never come to life. And I'm actually glad. Titanic should remain a memory of a time when man thought he mastered Nature and took a big slap in the face. It's supposed to be a lesson for mankind. We should not make it a "casino on the waves", a money and touristic attraction. Even though man has already forgotten the lesson. Let's have a little respect, shall we?
(I hope you won't take my comment badly, it was not my intention to say anything that could be seen as a reproach to you, but I somehow have the feeling that what I wanted to say didn't come out quite right).

I don't blame you for thinking of it this way. according to what I have heard however states titanic 2 is nothing more then a floating memorial to the original and gives the passengers a look into the past so we can see things the way they saw it. so I only approve the idea of building it if itΒ at least resembles the original, the last thing we need is another ship that looks like it came out of star trek.

I heard some Chinese guys were thinking about building an EXACT replica of the ship, as a touristic attraction. This is an idea that I would more gladly support than the Palmer project. But I somehow doubt China has the necessary culture and resources (I'm NOT talking about money here) to rebuild it exactly.
However, this is a project that would be perfect if it was located in Belfast, say next to the SS Nomadic... What a sight that would be!

Very nice work...only thing I'd change is make the ship portion brighter.

Yes it goes under the bridge but the top mast can be a problem.

I imagine they'd have telescoping funnels like on most of the Vista class ships, and QM2. Although how much they can telescope is the question. They'd have to work with tide schedules as well.
