Here's the MechSWAT pic I promised. What we see here is a group of school friends measuring their heights in comparison to a building. To put things in perspective, the tallest girl there is a Cat-12 Shifter, the tallest official Shifter category. Bigger blond girl is a Cat-10 Shifter, the smaller girls are Cat-3 Shifters and the boy in their shadow isn't a Shifter at all. We also see a pair of Bloodhound mechs (piloted by Andy-13 and another Andy Unit, most likely Andy-28) on patrol.ΒI made this pic big to kinda test how big my comp can render, and this came out admirably. Enjoy.

So the bigger ones are about 70 and 80 feet, and the smaller ones about 20 feet.Β Well, judging by the average of one story=10 feet, that is.

it actually varies from person to person. Like, a Cat-12 who's around 5 feet tall normally might wind up around 60 ft tall (5x12) while a Cat-10 who's around 6 feet tall would wind up a similar height. the size categories are based on height multiplier, not necessarily the maximum height.

There is usually height restrictions in place, but such things are mostly led by common sense.

tho some places have no official height restrictions, but those places are very specific.

I would imagine a park or some special places on the outskirts of the city limits where there's not many buildings around would be prime for that. Might as well not let the size go to waste.
That said, building cleaning gotta be super easy.

EXACTLY! Shifters have a lot of employment opportunities. Maintenance, construction, landscaping, basically any job where there size can be put to use. Now I'm not saying that they're restricted to these jobs, but there are a lot of businesses with positions that are Shifter-specific.

I don't think they are Shifter-specific per se, more of easier done by Shifters. I could see there being say, a huge amount of bonus for shfiters whenever a music concert has to come in town. Those sets have to be easy to make then by normal human hands.

Some jobs are Shifter-specific, tho. Like, how folks do you know who can rearrange an entire auto sales lot fairly quickly without expending gas? XD

Not many, but I'm saying other folks could do it too. It's not just them. That's like saying just cause a robot could do it better it's specific to them now. Might not be the best of a normal guy, but they could still do it. I get what you mean, but calling it shifter-specific even though it could be done by other folks, regardless of other factors, just irks me some.
