Description Silverstone is one of my RP characters, the controller of poor BP's fate. She is actually an avatar of the universe itself, a tiny fraction of it's reality in the form of a separate consciousness. She has decided to work on keeping the balances of good, evil, light, dark, violence and peace, and BP is the perfect tool for the job, given her chaotic, adaptable nature.

Most of the time, though, she simply appears to be a long, large silver dragon, and anyone who believes that's what she is, is very rarely told otherwise.

I RP fairly regularly on www.worldbroadcastingsystem.com in Tenshadows, so if you feel like it just look for BPanthress. My IMs are also BPanthress if you feel like saying hello.

I've tried 3D modelling two or three weeks ago, actually, and it took me several hours of training and trying to get a simple figure finished. It's amazing to see what can be done, though.
I just think, that she is a bit too bright compared to the background. And although silver is mostly colourless in itself, it reflects colour. That's what I'm missing here.

May I ask a question? You work with ZBrush for these models. Do you have any experience with Blender, to compare those two? I modelled with Blender and am wondering, if ZBrush would be a better choice, or if it's just personal taste wheather to use one or the other.

I tried Blender a few years ago, and while I actually had a semester of 3-D back in college (1997), I found it incredibly difficult to use. Zbrush...it's like using a digital piece of clay! You start with a sphere and push, pull, crease, warp, as if you were using your fingers and tools instead of trying to shape it with math. You should try the free trial. Warning...you may get hooked, and it's a whoppin' $700...but it's worth it in my opinion. As soon as I can afford it I'm owning it!

Ah, there are much more expensive programs out there. I guess I'll give the trial a try some time.
Thank you very much!
