Another WIP pieceGLaDOS from Portal
Only the front portion of the designs have been painted on. I'm waiting for my EL panels to come in before I finish the back side designs.
The designs are painted on with 3D paint
The cores are made from styrofoam balls painted with acrylic paints, and flower wire as the handles on each of them. They are glued to a pair of workable headphones that I will be adding the Aperture Logo to the side of them as well as some LED lights.
The Aperture Science logo will be on my front chest as an EL panel. I'm so excited about that!!!! jaksldjf;aks

OH GAH! It looks like I'm making the duck face!!!jkflajdl;af NOOOO. I AM DEFINITELY NOT MAKING THE DUCK FACE!!! I blame the light. TAT

You know, ever since I saw the original image that inspired this I've wanted to make a cosplay like this myself. Yours turned out fantastic! I can only hope mine will turn out half as good ^_^

what material did you use for the body suit? will that breathe well enough for you to be comfortable for extended amounts of time? [/always worried when people use materials that can potentially cause health complications]
also, i'm sure it only looks like you're duck-facing because of the angle at which your face is paired with how your lips are naturally shaped in addition to the body paint. >w<

It's wetlook lyrca, it's some what breathable. Oh I know about overheating in certain fabrics and I took that into consideration. ^^

that's good that you did the research. it always makes me sad to find a heat-stroke victim just because they forgot to take into account what kind of material they were working with.

Oh, I know what you mean! It erks me too when some cosplayers complain about the "hotness" of their cosplay even though they know that their fabric isn't breathable. jfaklsd;jfsdf >_<
