Description
My FB Art page www.facebook.com/dollygeorgiev… I will be happy to see you thereI was going for more natural look and subtle colors on this one. I tried to use a “color scheme” mixing all colors; something that I haven’t done before. I also tried to make it look more like painting than a photograph
I think I made the objects a little too small this time..oh, well
Will be happy to hear your thoughts!

I like the way you give a human construct to the objects. I can tell you've studied a lot of human form. I think in a still life you've got to animate the forms. Great work.

I like the use of colors. I like the color and movement of light in the background.

I think your picture is very nicely composed, the colours are lovely and warm, and I like the contrast between the hardness of the vase and the soft blanket.
I bet when you were putting all those objects together you spent ages arranging the folds on the blanket; I think it was time well spent.

Wonderful technique! Very soft touch, but still great detail. How large is it?

Your uploading works again! I have to say... I really like that natural look. It's somehow clear that it is a painting but I can't really say why. The apples and vase look just like on a photo. And the background is not much behind. I guess the only thing destroying that illusion is the cloth which comes down from the right side: This part seems more painted than the rest. But amazing work again! It's fascinating how you make things gleam and shine with traditional means!

Thanks Yeah, I wanted to make it more subtle and lay back with the crazy colors for once. That was the light in the room, so I guess that's why it ended up kind a dark
