u mean instead of paper? i used transparent plastic, that is used to print slides on. dont know exactly how it's called. but its a bit difficult to cut, i could have done the same thing with paper.

I use the same stuff often, but when I want to make bigger stencils I was wondering what to print on. I guess I'll just buy a big sheet of acetate and print out the stencil on a bunch of pieces of paper then trace them onto the acetate and cut them out of that.

when im doing big stencils, I tape A1 size papers together, and use projector to trace the image. works fine and easy

But then you couldn't do anything as big as 3x3 or bigger, where there would be one piece of paper in the middle.
