I stared that monster dead in the eye and raised me sword. This was it. Either I finish this now or I'd be sinkin' down ter' Davy Jones' locka! And then-

Wanted to draw this for a while, but considering Linebeck would have never done anything like this, it HAD to be a figment of his imagination.
Yeah, an Octokraken is just something I made up. -u- Tee hee.

I teared up cause i finished Spirit Tracks first and when i saw the tombstone, i was like "Linebeck? Eh, I guess i shouldn't worry 'bout it". Then i got Phantom Hourglass a few years later and met Linebeck. Towards the end, I had so much respect for Linebeck, even though he was kind of a coward. Then I finished the game and went back to Spirit Tracks to read that tombstone one more time.
Good job, person. This is the part where i clap

Actually in phantom hourglass it does mention how Linebeck accidentally kills a beast that was attacking jolene by accidentally ramming it with the prow if the SS Linebeck

Your art is too good for my internet to handle; this took a hundred years to load but WOW was it worth the wait! Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!! The lighting is UNF perfect! Your attention to detail is incredible. Linebeck has been my favorite Zelda character since his debut, and this just sells it further

"Ello Beastie!" (Choir Music plays as Linebeck prepares to be eaten by the Octokraken. It opens it's maw wide, roaring out a challenge to the brave Captain Linebeck. With a solemn glare, he raises his cutlass and draws it back, roaring back his own as it engulfs him into it's belly.)

Waht's so funny, is the fact when he did stab one of the creature's eyes, he was shaking with fear... Eventually, he does, however, remember its a sword, and begins to swing wildly aty every tentacle that comes near...
