You only have one sheet up so far and it's your first, it's always hard to sell your first. Also, the adopts on the sheet look very similar.
If you can download GIMP: [link] Just click on the orange 'download' button, under 2.8
Then, search for some linearts and find some that interest you. You can colour them in GIMP and add great patterns, textures ect.
You can also use them in paint, but your options are more limited.
If you want to do the traditional ones, try to scan it in. I know some peeps don't have a scanner but if you on't then try to get a clearer shot, aerial view is best.

There's Photoshop and Sai. You have to pay for them though. You can get free trials, but I won't be able to help you thee, because I can't use them xD

There are a LOT of different functions. If you need to know anything specific, like how to make it transparent ect. then just ask me. Otherwise I would look up GIMP Tutorials on YouTube.
