Gender: Female
Species: Mobian/Reanimated Taxidermy Fox
Height: 91 cm (3 ft)
Weight: 13 kg (30 lbs)
Age: 14 (mentally. Real age incalculable)

Fracta is a young taxidermy fox made from various fox hides (at least 3 different species). She was brought to life by Merlin Prower, who found her stuffed body in an abandoned house on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Acorn. Fracta was created with no memory of why she was created or any indication of who created her or who once was.

Merlin named her (based on the Latin word "fractus" meaning "broken) and raised her for a short time. However, she eventually got a place of her own in New Mobotropolis.

Fracta is made entirely of wool, wire, and fox skin. Her eyes are glass, but thanks to Merlin's magic, her body functions almost as an actual organic body would. Her stitches will often fall out, so Fracta has to sew herself back together quite often. It's not uncommon for her to put body parts on backwards or on the wrong side on accident. Due to how she's made, Fracta is not a particularly good fighter. However, she can sustain injuries and loss of limbs relatively painlessly.

Fracta is terribly awkward. She is very self conscious about her appearance, so she tends to think anyone who sees her is judging her. Despite this, once Fracta gets to know someone she becomes very loyal and trusting of them. She feels affection towards Tails Prower, not only because he remind her of Merlin, but because he seems the most accepting of her looks, and doesn't treat her differently.

Fracta is good at very domestic things, such as cooking and gardening. She is also a very good seamstress, as she often has to sew herself back together. Under Merlin, she learned potions, but is not very skilled in that field.

Actual Origins: Fracta doesn't actually know this, nor is it ever revealed to anyone but this is how she came to be: During Robotnik's takeover of Mobotropolis, many Mobians died in the struggle. An old man a daughter who perished during the takeover. He survived, and, overcome with grief, tried to "recreate" his daughter. However, her body was so badly destroyed that he had to scavenge other corpses to make a full body. The man died soon after, and left the taxidermy body alone for many years, until Merlin happened upon it...
