Description
God MachineOil on Canvas
4x4ft
God Machine is a strange piece, even to myself. I began working on it in November and let is sit until January. It's still not finished yet, I have to fill in the center piece
However, this was painted to act as a amplifier for a thoughtform, so I need to find something special... something private and something specific to set in the center of the alte area.

Actually the poem is from Warhammer 40,000. It is a prayer from the Adeptus Mechanicus the the Omnissiah.

This is as finished as it will get. I have no desire to complete this picture.

Wow this is so beautiful!
And it looks like it's an anti-god temple or something too. I love that!

Actually, this picture is based on Lovecraft mysticism and the OTO beliefs dealing with thoughtforms. Every piece of this painting is designed as a kind of metaphysical machined build to literall build a "God" on the astral plane.
The idea is taken from the belief that the phrase "It is said that no one is truely dead as long as their memory lives on" According to the OTO, this spoken memory charges existing energy existing in the astral plane, and in turn gives more power to the thoughtform, hence creating whatever one wishes. The mere fact that it is called "God Machine" adds more of a shock and awe effect thus granting this "God" more power.
Actually, this was an absinthe induced picture... and I am literally afraid of this picture. I tried to put in as much malice and hate into it, that it frightens me to think of what would happean in the thoughtform manifeasted itself in a physical way, or at least in the way of psychic attack.

somewhat reminds of something like H.R. Giger's work. Im rather fond of the macarbe surrealist feeling.

The Catholic alter and the Episcapalian roof beams were used to construct the more physical areas of this painting.
Glad you like it
