Description
Farmer Ulrich loves these gentle giants. Despite their overwhelming size, they are quite capable of navigating the farm area. They don't want to walk onto a house or barn, any more than we want to run into a car or other human sized object. The wife and dog get a bit anxious, but so far, no harm done.Hey, if she can feed the stray cats, he can feed the stray dinos.
Puertasaurus, Until recently this was thought of as the largest dinosaur to walk the Earth. There are some bone bits and fragments that may indicate some other larger animals, but this one has some neck and tail bones, a vertabrae, ribs and the hip. No leg bones or head though. A rough estimate of it's size is from 110' to 130'. It lived in the later Cretaceous of Argentina, South America, where many other Titanosaur cousins lived, including the nearly as big Argentinasaurus.
A recently revealed discovery from 2011 has uncovered an unnamed Titanosaur with many fossil bones including a massive femur. The size of this new one can be more defined because of the amount and type of bones found. The new one is at least 130 feet long and an estimated 77 tons with a foot to head height of 65 feet. That's looking in to the window of a 7 story building! I wonder if Raul will make a model for this newest discovery
