Important Notes:I have no archery training; `jademacalla was kind enough to allow me to use his bow and give me some basic tips. Thus, these are probably not accurate references for a skilled archer. These photos were taken with a non-realistic approach to archery in mind; they are more geared to the magical and the fantasy. Please consider this when using them for reference.
Please refrain from making comments about the model's ability. I am already aware of the shortcomings of the technical aspects.

I like that the model (you?) wears rubberbands on her calfs, it does look like a very helpful visual guideline with the foreshortening of the legs.

I don't think I will ever do Smoct again. But I have been toying with putting my story down in comic form....And amethyst would have a large part. So I'll use it then.

I threw them around my ankles to help with the perspective. It's something I intend to do on all my stock moving forward, as well as lines on the body. It was an afterthought in this shoot though. ^___^;

yeah I figured it was something like that. Oh, the only thing I'd change is that you weren't holding an arrow! I know it'd be dangerous but maybe a stick? or was jumping/falling too dangerous for even a stick? Thanks for answering!

Yes, Jade took the arrow away once we starting doing the jumping stuff, for safety. It was generally a challenge to fall without hurting myself while using the bow, so we figured the less complicated, the better ;D

hahaha, well Jade suggested I let my hair down to get some more action in the shots so I threw the hair ties around my ankles to help show the perspective ;D
