There's a difference between stock reference and model posing. Her build has nothing to do with the goal of the photograph- to be used as a reference instead of an aesthetic by appearance. You simply cannot judge somebody's build- and just because she may be built like a man in your opinion does not mean she's not attractive to others nor her references are useless. If you had a little more politeness and common sense about stock references, you'd know this kind of stuff doesn't matter to an artist. Not to nag on you or your personal opinions, it's just that pose referencing is not normally in the category of aesthetics physically.Β

I'm just starting my opinion on her looks and that I really don't care that she is doing this for posing or modeling or whatever. She is still ugly, and that's the end of it. I am too, but I'm saying it because she's putting herself out there for all to see. She should expect aesthetic critique due to her being a model. I am not taking into account her help with poses

Yo, unless you have constructive criticism, keep your opinions to yourself please. This woman has helped me so much with my art and I mostly don't keep to her actual figure. It's not about her build it's about looking at where everything should go in relation to each other. If you want to get models with great figures go to adult video stars and models, but I can almost guarantee you that you will not find them nearly as helpful as SenshiStock's reference arsenal (or maybe you should I just saw what you draw and you should definitely go to adult video stars, but when you want to get to that normal stuff you come here for the best). Now hush hush and draw, you need the practice and so do I. But hey you're already on basically the best place in all of DeviantArt for references.

First off, I'm talking about real people here, so my drawing skills have nothing to do with it
Second, I know how to draw a potato, I don't need a fucking reference.

The thing is real people have real people proportions. That's the thing. Maybe you don't know what real people look like, but that's your problem, not theirs.
Second, the only way for an artist to improve is by using references. That's a basic thing to know. So maybe you should consider using some.
Third, most of the drawings here are 5 months old or more, and yeah, I like to paint portraits, mainly because it's faster. The proportions are still correct, so I really don't know what you are trying to say.
"Don't know how to draw people", you really have some nerve to say stuff like that dude.
