Description Some running poses. I also talked about REAL wolf anatomy.

I know that wolves don't really have big bushy tails like everyone seems to draw them with but big bushy tails are so cute, aren't they? I get what you mean though and it is nice your poiting that detail out for people so they can learn and draw more realistic looking wolves. lol He does look like he's running ontop of him XD

Yeah, I see very often people drawing thin wolves with busy tails, saying it is a realistic wolf, it is not. Since I draw them heavy build with bushy tails, because I love thick, fluffy fur, it's just fantasy wolf xD

This is very helpfull, is it ok if I use? :3

This is very nice, I do hate it when people screw up anatomy. Even though I'm sure I do a lot. I think I focus too much my own style, when I should be looking at pictures of real wolves.
You obviousy know something many people don't. Keep up your gorgeous Art work!

Good advice.. I need to stop drawing my wolves so skinny! But I don't make the tail to bushy so 1/2 point for me!

Its a good reference book. But I mostly use pictures I took.

WolfFlame12 In reply to AdothWolf [2011-02-10 18:33:38 +0000 UTC]

It is a good reference book, so is "Spirit of the Horse".
I can't take pictures, there are no wolves near by, and the coyotes stay hidden. For a while I had two red foxes that I could get close to and take shots, but the mayor shot and killed them.
So google images and books are my closest refs now

Were do you live? Because I took some of my references from a place called Lakota wolf park.

East coast of the US. I found a place in Indiana called Wolf Park, so its not but a state or so away from me. My family got me a sponsorship for a wolf named Wolfgang there, so I should be able to visit the foxes in person and watch the wolves through the fence, I just haven't gotten there yet.
