It's no secret that I don't like the JJ Verse, I don't like the movies and I hate that iteration of the Enterprise (it's those damn nacelles), however, I have nothing against the Kelvin itself. The design or the parts that make it. Subsequently, I never delved into making ships with those parts (Axanar is the closest as those parts are similar).
But, my collaboration with Β www.deviantart.com/revancherm/ has "forced" me into working with KT parts. At his request, I re-colored them and this is the result. And I really like them! I made a few small alteration/modifications to suit myself and added a different bussard collector to the nacelles. That and my coloring of the defector dish sold me even further.
Shout out to nichodo.deviantart.com/ for pointing me to his versions of the ventral & aft views of the saucer and aft nacelle. that ventral saucer is better thanΒ my version I posted a week or so ago. (which I'm going to delete).
So, expect some incoming KT style ships from me and RevancheRM as part of his Project Starship in the near future.
