This is a great TOS design. I'm soooo borrowing it.
I was going to say: it seems so much easier to construct and establish a pre-manufactured relay station like this, than the model we saw in "Aquiel", but that one could probably be easily transported to location in such a standard container.

I was thinking, probably like Vance, that these are temporary relays. But I'm sure temporary means the same thing in the future... permanent. Temporary tax on gasoline ring a bell?
