Description
Work in Progress.
Posted a while back an earlier version of this drawing of my player's characters in the Rogue Trader campaign I'm GMing. I had some space on the far left so asked if who they wanted to go there, suggesting an NPC they'd grown fond of a member of the Inquisitorial Storm Trooper force which accompanied their Inquisitor ally: Azakir Halgriv. Explosives specialist Trooper Darrenisk. He's joined the Explorers group a few times to help them in missions, even when they don't need an explosives specialist they try to demand he help them. We have a running joke that Inquisitor Azakir is just a figurehead, Darrenisk is the true mastermind and, in fact, the Emperor Himself in disguise. The origin of the almighty Darrenisk's name is, well, based on my flatmate's, which is...well, Darren, I had to make up his name on the fly, okay!? Lol Anyway besides the almighty Darrenisk.
From left to right...
Leman Havelock former assassin of The Sons of Dispater. Hailing from Malfi, he is one of the tainted born so is incredibly intelligent. The most recent addition to the upper echelons of the ship, having been brought in by Inquisitor Azakir Halgiv is the one who holds the star map which will allow the Explorers find the particular type of Navigator which will guide them through the warp to the legendary sub-sector sized place lost amongst the Halo Stars. He's quite insane, ruthless and a master at the blade. His father being a noble of Malfi had him trained from a young age to be his personal assassin by the Sons of Dispater. He used to spend many hours in his father's library, he found the map hidden away. Years later his father betrayed him, as did The Sons after a botched mission, so he decided to go on his own, so infiltrated his father's mansion and stole away his map and left Malfi to Port Wander and the Koronus Expanse in the hope to join forces with a Rogue Trader insane enough to take the huge risk to go to this unexplored and incredibly dangerous place. And with the aid of one Inquisitor Azakir Halgriv of the Ordo Xenos, he most certainly found one who is...
Sir Magliss Godfrey, the "ECCENTRIC" Rogue Trader, the man, the legend. The Magliss Dynasty has fallen on hard times having been reduced to one single cruiser The Sovereign Venture mostly due to his insatiable lust to hunt the greatest of game over running a business. A born leader, he loves telling people what to do almost as much as he loves shooting animals between the eyes from miles away. While he certainly doesn't run his ship like a democracy, he does listen to the counsel of his inner circle. His wife is a planetary governor and he has many children, his excursions out into the stars are mostly to escape from his wife and kids. Now his trophy room is full to the brim with creatures he's murdered...I mean 'hunted' in the Calixis Sector he decided to travel out into the Koronus Expanse to test his skill against new game. Wishes to one day hunt a Tyranid or two...
Nova Plex, Void Mistress, Hive Worlder, Magliss' bodyguard and now rogue psyker. The ship's main pilot and loves to show the hell off when she's at the helm of their Guncutter. She's a former...slave and...stripper (I have to remind readers she was created by a woman) A skilled swordswoman, she is a descendant of the Haarlock line.
Aiden Visser the ship's Seneschal and the much-needed voice of rational reason of the Explorer group, of noble birth he's silver-tongued and intelligent. But he hails from the far off Segmentum Pacificus as his ship became lost in the warp due to an "accident" and exited back out into the Calixis Sector near a backwater world. With no resources, he had to build himself back up by taking part in the underbelly of the black market. Did this for years before being recruited into the crew by Magliss who saw his potential. The longest-serving member of the crew, Magliss considers his word over everyone else's besides Inquisitor Halgriv's...because...well....he's an Inquisitor...Due to his brief bathing in the warp, he became infected by a 'parasitic daemon' who may or may not have been his sister who was a worshipper of Slaanesh which was slowly suckling on his soul as he gained strength to be eventually birthed into the material realm. But the daemon was exorcised by Farseer Faleaseen of the Craftworld of Dalorsia at the request of Inquisitor Halgriv.
And uhh...yeah, enjoy!
