StandardPanzer is a manned-MBT program proposed by the joint-venture between TRIAGE and Tassara Dominion toward the Mahanakorn People's Army need for demolition tank that is also capable on its own against conventional MBT threats. The full name of the StdPanzer is Tipo-B ESP SturmkanoneStandardpanzer (Type B ESP Assault Cannon, Standard Tank)

Development of StdPanzer began in early 2210s when MPA was increasingly adopting AI-manned MBTs into its fleet, whereas the problem arise -- Despite being extremely effective in all aspects, AI-MBTs proved to be rather expensive to manufacture including upkeep (until MHNK mass-produce engineering androids in 2220~) As a result, the Army needed a stopgap measure; or something in-between to buff its size during shifting Era.

The finalized design and first prototype of StandardPanzer (At the time called MBT-3) was finished in 2215, in which the prototype featured a novel and rather unconventional design - Massive 250mm. cannon, so large so heavy and long that it had to be lodged between the two 'turret' compartment to enable depression and fitting the gun inside the turret, hence Oscillating Turret design in its own way.

The cannon was designed specifically to fire 'Black Munition' warhead which would later be called as 'Demolition Round' capable of being flung over 15 km. and dealing massive explosive energy equivalent to 150kg. TNT, with the explosion sharpnel radius of almost one kilometre. The Black Munition also came with configuration option to act as airburst against aerial targets and for over-head attack, like artillery. The idea of 250mm. cannon stemmed directly from certain engineering rule -- Keeping something simple and stupid to operate. StandardPanzer's armament was designed to just overcome the hard, thick physical armor and strong energy shield by literally using bigger tank ordnance. Even UniEarth couldn't think of it.

Regardless, there are 'standard' 250mm. APFSDS backup rounds against unexpectedly heavily armoured target, although no MBT in the age could withstand 150kg of TNT detonated under the turret collar.

Due to the sheer size of 250mm. ordnances resulting in small amount of shots that can be fired, StdPanzer was instead introduced with the most sophisticated FCS (Fire Control System) at the time, capable of leading shot against vehicle moving at constant speed 10 km. away with 0.4m deviation.

To complement the doctrine, StdPanzer was designed as a standoff tank. While its side armor is not too thin, its front armor is armored out of mind with composite armor equal to 2,000mm of RHA at hardest spot head-on

This armor, although putting burden on the front combined with front-engine placement, heavily negate StandardPanzer's 250mm. recoil that would damage the rear wheel spokes. The rear spokes would occasionally touch ground when tank fired head-on regardless

The general supplements of main armaments include twin dual 20mm. cannon turret designated for AA roles, universal tube launching system (UTLS) for launching Anti-Tank rockets or pod of drones for purposes, or Illum Flares. the Hard-Kill APS system of StdPanzer includes standard ERA packages on front and side, and the laser turret APS with 10 energy charges against all threats.

While the new engine specifically designed for it managed to pull the tank to 50 km/h with rather high p/w ratio, the tank suffered from front and top-heavy, with advised line of fire limited to 120 degree to protect against all and possible chassis damage with sustained fires (primarily the rear spokes)

The crews of StdPanzer all sit in turret in a rather unusual configuration as much as the amount of 2 tank crews. The commander would act as gunner and sit in left side of turret while the driver would sit at right side. There is not much space inside despite the outside silhouette; much of the turret is an extensive array of layered composites and spaced armor at the front.

Almost over 200 of StandardPanzers were ordered by MPA as stopgap tanks until TRIAGE manage to perfect the combat-engineering androids, and minimize the production cost of modern AI-MBTs down to acceptable price tag enough to roll them out at the rate of Ford Model-T.
