Ok so a while ago someone showed me this image [link] and it recently occurred to me that what Anders should have done is open a school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, one where you could go home for the holidays and didn't have templars ready to kill you at a moments notice.I don't even know alright?
I'm not even that big of a Harry Potter fan... I just want Happy Awakening Anders back ;_;

This gave me a good laugh. I actually have played the games backwards. My friend convinced me to play DA2 before the 1st one. The moment I met Anders he was an instant favorite. I love his sarcasm, and how selfless he is. I feel bad for him having to deal with Justice, it can't be easy. I took him along with me on every mission, and when I took him along on the Legacy DLC... I felt actually bad about doing so. My friend and I are at ends about Anders. She doesn't like him really because of his actions in DA2 and I think his reasons were justifiable. He might've went a little overboard, but I think he was really the only one that was taking a stand against the injustices going on in Kirkwall. I sure hope he shows up in the 3rd one if he stayed with Hawke (cause in my game he stayed with my Hawke :3 ), or just shows up at all really.

Hmm.... Hogwarts or the Circle of Magi?
In the Circle, you get Arrogant Templars, Jerky Priests, the threat of demons, abominations and blood magic at every waking moment OH and doooon't forget about the Harrowing! At least in your dreams you get to talk to spirits from the Fade! Oooooh! There is also the fact that if you screw up as a kid you won't have a future 'cause they'll strip you of all emotions, meaning and everything you hold dear. Oh let's also not forget the Circle is in a drafty tower in the middle of the lake full of books. Right and magic is scorned by nearly everyone everywhere.
In Hogwarts, you get to worry about the government breathing down your neck, bullies from other houses, life-threatening injuries, haunted woods, giant creatures who are so screwed up they are making up names for them, dark magic and whacked up children and talking objects. Hey, you can ride griffons, face dragons, coerce giant three headed dogs and even have a pet, though. Fortunately, you live in a castle and everyone has English accents! Luckily, people don't discriminate because if you tell a single living muggle soul outside of Hogwarts, you'll be killed!

I, personally, like the change. I mean, I LOVE Awakening Anders, but I SUPER love DAII Anders. Not because he's all angsty and what not, but because he's more altruistic and selfless and deep. It shows all the secret desires that Anders had in Awakening, but now displayed because of Justice. All we're seeing is who Anders truly was--just what we never saw. He broke my heart when he blew up the chantry, but it made me FEEL. And that was enough for me to spare him and then run off with him, leaving the templars in the dust!

Really? I can't see him as anything other then Gryffindor, both pre-justice and after he takes actions that put himself at risk to help others* which doesn't fit Slytherin and most of his actions require a great deal of courage. I wouldn't pin him at Ravenclaw since he isn't the bookish type and doesn't always think things through, and not Hufflepuff because while pre-justice he's sociable he was always very guarded and didn't allow himself to get close to anyone till Hawke.
Gryffindor's can also be abrasive or have not-nice qualities.
*when escaping he stopped to heal someone in need, slowing himself down and outing himself as a mage and in DA2 he opened a free clinic, once again helping others, outing himself as a mage and asking for nothing in return

Anders: Oh, I made Ser-Pounce-Alot giant and he ate the snake. I found these really shiny things but they broke when i touched them.... *holds up horcrux*
Hermione: HOW DID YOU FIND THOSE??
Anders: uh... they were shiny?
Ron: .... Wait, why'd you use a bloody cat for the bomb?
Anders: Actually, i used Pounce-Alot's Litter box. Had to get the Ammonia from somewhere....
And thus how the Dark Lord was vanquished via Cats, Anders, and the best video game rule ever: If it's shiny, it's important.
