Not so much an artwork as a practice, I just figured out how to use a screen lighting effect.Looking for some pointers here.
It's by far not my best, so you know...yeah
As for the actual image, I was going for an inception type effect, then failed

Yeah, Screen does tend to be a little more powerful than necesarry.

Yeah, also people have a tendency to lean on the skill. Plus at the same time it is hard to mix it with other techniques with out overwhelming/ruining the image.

Path tool, duplicate layer like 5 times
Guassian blur 4 of the layers increasing from 1px blur to 4px
Set all layers to screen

the concept is good, try to create the illusion of motion with the light strands, could add in some light orbs too for style
