If you chat with me with instant messangers a lot your are probably familiar with me saying *facefall* at something really strange or surprising. Usually in a stupid way.The concept of the facefall is from some anime I used to watch. Something really stupid happened and the characters would illustrate their disbelief by a one frame flip upside down on their face (hence the name facefall). It was a kind of comedy gag I just liked and kind of adopted.
Here we see Bluehog demonstrating a facefall.

Haha, I guess this a bit more painful version of slapping yourself to the forehead after doing or seeing something dump. 
Nice animation! I love the way headfrills are moving after he hits the ground. Also wiggling leg at the end is funny!

After seeing something dumb one could slap their forehead or do a face fall (in the animated world). The face fall is for the more obviously stupid where the one committing the stupid really does not realize it.
