Description
The background stars are a photo from the Hubble telescope on a 2D panel. Earth is made from 2 spheres, one for a high quality map texture and one for the clouds map. I have created this day and night texture by feathering two textures of Earth & flatten them in one image. Clouds are from a real cloud texture with transparency and bump effect. Moon is made from one sphere and a moon texture with a bump map. Radial lights and Sun light on.

Built & rendered in Bryce 5.5. Rendering time 25min at ‘2000 x 1399 pixels’. Bryce document size 26.4 MB. Earth and Moon outer glow, sharpening image and signature in postwork.
