Description

Resubmitted after a watcher noted the mountains looked too pointed. It did look odd...agreeing I decided to re-adjust and make the majority of the hills rounded at the peaks.

This is a piece continuing the moon series. The ship is a scouting probe or reconnaisance craft analysing the moons surface. It has a series of arms appendages to do various scientific tasks. It uses small retro rockets to manoeuvre around. I first started this illustration off with the intention of leaving it purely as a moonscape but felt it needed an object of some sort to counterpoint the whole composition and thus added the flying craft.
