The book is VERY descriptive on how geisha in her time looked. I like the picture, but the movie was a real let down. More detail should be used. The lips shouldnt be completely red, and there should be a very small line of bare skin along the hair line.

I love Memoirs of a Geisha, I remember begging my mother to buy me the book(she thought it might be inappropriate) and then she went with me to watch the movie (which she loved & cried over, ironicly).
