One more thing. Is it possible in Windows 7 to square the rounded top edges of the menu drop down so to allow it to look the same when the taskbar is mounted to the top as it does when mounted to the bottom?

I logged in just to say that this looks like a great improvement over the last release. Looks very clean. I like that you fixed the text. As to cH053n's comment: Maybe a Dark and Light version depending on different preferences, if it's possible with Windows 7? In that screenshot it looks wonderful.
