Now here's a character I haven't seen in... forever. Miss seeing Meru and Rose both! (I mean, I own the game and still have it, so I could technically see them whenever I wanted to see them... but my game keeps freezing after one specific boss, which makes me sad.)

The second time I fight Lenus. I beat her and just as the cut scene ends the game just stops. Not sure why.

Ah, you too... and apparently many others. Apparently, it's a glitch with the game; some are saying 'don't use Dragoon at all during the fight and it'll work fine', others are saying 'only Dart can Dragoon, but make sure he's not in Dragoon at end of fight'... and then there's one person who says that they only used Rose's Dragoon and the fight went just fine. (I just looked it up to be sure we were thinking of the same fight, and we are.)
There's also a theory that it could be the hardware; if being played on a slim PS2, it'll apparently overheat, but a bulkier, original PS2 will handle it just fine. Didn't see much commentary on the PS1, but apparently that handles it well.
All the same, I do know I made it past the fight just fine the first time I ever played through it; didn't recall having any issues then. Got to see the start of Disc 3, but for whatever reason needed to redo the Lenus fight. That's... when I started having issues. I assumed it was something wrong with my game discs... :/ Well, with that in mind, it might be time for me to restart the entire game from the very beginning and experience the story once more so everything's fresh on my mind. ^^
