NEW VERSION: [link] Less Distracting theme for Windows 7
The default Windows 7 theme (aero) is good, but I think it's distracting.
So, I didn't want a full glass theme, I only wanted a less fancy Visual Style.
-I recommend "UxStyle Core" for use custom Visual Styles.
-My "simple little orb" and my "static transparent orb" is included inside ( to be used with "Windows 7 Start Button Changer v 2.6.exe")

There is a bug when using small taskbar

When a pinned app is pointed, there is a white border shown above it.

You are right, when you minimize an app it's show the border on the next active app. If no app is active, it's show the border on the next pinned app.
I'll try to fix it, but I think it's no possible, 'cause it's the way that Windows use the focus on active apps. Sorry.

Besides this problem, this is so far my best choice of W7 themes.

Overall I like what you've done, but the fact that the start button is not transparent like the taskbar is a distracting me.

Hi! and thanks. I had included a full transparent/invisible start menu button in the ZIP file.
You can use it if you edit "explorer.exe" with "Windows 7 Start Button Changer v 2.6.exe"

I love this coz i always hated the all app framed in taskbar!!! >_> finally someone who think like me

I made it in this way because in the vertical taskbar is a little confusing which is the active app. All are the same!

like everything except the caption buttons, those are in my opinion more distracting.

I like the original Aero caption buttons, but everything else is okay. Or you could just download [link] which is even more less distracting.
