I always loved the idea of seeing Ralsei Grown up
he is Asriel afterall.. well not literally.. at least he is in college now in deltarune..
dammiitt Toby.. plz get the Chapter 2 come sooner
right now i just could play the game while watching MatPat Game Theory Video of deltarune..
i watch crazy tons of Undertale and Deltarune connection video to get the idea what i was missing..
since i never play or watch undertale.. other than Sans Memes.. i have no background story whatsoever in my head..
but i guess deltarune is a brandnew story where i could jump in as a new random dude becoming a fan of Ralsei..

I really didn't understand the impulse to 'swap' characters until just now, seeing this. Underswap was always cute, but seemed a bit lazy in the creative sense.
And now here I find myself wanting to draw a Gentle Giant Susie and a smol badass Ralsei. Prince of Darkness for real.
Perhaps one with Boss Asriel, God of Hyperdeath traits.
Anyway, I'm a little bit in the same boat as you- I did play Undertale, but I didn't really get attached to the characters, (except Tor and Gor). That was instead mainly through stellar fandom content.
