I believe that Pancham's evolution requires leveling up while a Dark Type is nearby. Which would explain why there are wild Pangoro. And I always figured both Absol and Pancham were PokΓ©mon that would train together while their trainers traveled together. So it would make sense that Pancham would evolve while training with Drew's Absol.Β On their Sinnoh Journey of course since we saw Pancham had yet to evolve in Journeys.Related content
