I think this every time I see this scene. Their faces were literally inches away from each other! Why didn't they kiss?! It drives me crazy when I think about howΒ the creators could've put them so close together, and not have them kiss.Β This is really the only complaint I have with this movie because it had so many cute moments between the two of them. But really Nintendo? Inches apart and you couldn't make them kiss?Related content

Movie 8 as the story is straightforward without being predictable, it gives a good reason for ash to be involved, and really goes to show how far ash will go to help Pikachu it was also where I first learned about why ash and Pikachu trust each other (the spear On my way! Incident) and a great send off to the 4kids cast

exactly. Though in these new series xy&z he looks a lot older and he acts more mature, and they have't mentioned his age here so I hope this is a case of "sudden ageing" which sometimes occur in animes ^^

That could be the case, but I doubt he has aged that much. If You compare him to the adults he is still quite short. So my guess is that if he have aged he will be around 11-13 now.
