Description I was testing making planets and starfields in Photoshop with some tutorials by Greg Martin. Eh, I really just followed his tutorial exactly and didn't really add much of my own, which is why it's been moved to the scraps section. The only thing my own is the starfield, which was still with a lot of help from Greg Martin's other tutorial, so... yeah. Here's a link to his website. [link] I really should have put this in my scraps section to begin with, but I was so excited for doing a new kind of art that I got carried away. How embarrassing!

Anyway, this is the first time that I've made something like this at all. I'm an absolute newb to this art style.

Don't put this in scraps!!! I like it! It's something different.

Could have added something to the planet, seeing as that looks like a direct copy of the planet example on Greg Martins site, and its almost as if your claiming it as your own.

Hehe, yeah, I kinda did. I'm really dumb that I didn't even credit it at all. x_x I should move this to my scraps and edit the description. Thanks for pointing out my own dumbness to me.

Try using 's star and light flare resource for the stars, it will give cleaner looking stars. Also, when doing Space Art, it is especially important to remember the rule of thirds. Your image seems unbalanced on the bottom left area.
Look to my account for advice on creating nice, random, starfields in the very near future.
