um...weird title...yup, the nordics are really growing on me ^^
i know the axe is really ugly and
action scenes aren't really my forte
yeah, i promised to draw su-san
i guess denmark is kinda a bonus...haha
i asked my dad if sweden really once belonged to denmark.
he didn't know.

Looks like someone gave you the Kalmar Union bit. Just another note, Sweden had become rather unhappy in the union, and for a long time was constantly trying to get out of it, which Denmark would put down. I know someone mentioned the Stockholm Bloodbath, and that was probably the most bloody and well known of these type of incidents. Eventually though, Sweden did break off from the union.
So, Hetaliafied summary (as interpreted by me and my friends): Denmark was constantly trying to stop Sweden from trying to leave his house, often resulting him being beaten and locked up in the basement. Because Denmark is just that much of a selfish child. And possessive. Kinda like Russia. Except more bratty and not as creepy. ._.;;

Sweden's lower regions(SkΓ₯ne)used to belong to Denmark, but yeah..

..There WERE bloody fights in their history :/ .. When Sweden (..along with Finland, 'cause he hadn't gained independence yet) broke out of the Klamar union, Denmark was furious I guess. ..Read more about the Stockholm bloodbath and you'll see. (;

Sweden didn't belong to Denmark in that sense of the word. They were in a union called the Kalmar union with a third country (Norway) from mid 1200's until the mid 1500's and after that, Denmark and Norway were in a personal union, while Sweden, who also ruled over Finland broke off
Before the 1200's Denmark, Sweden and Norway went on viking raids together.
I don't think you did too bad on the action part ^^ the trick is to create a dynamic feel with adding perspective, but I think you did good on this try
