I felt inspired to do a pic showcasing how Mako and her friend Kikori have changed ever since they were separated. I wanted to show how much they’ve retained their friendship and everlasting bond.They were best friends on Naesporexe’ea, training together and having such a great friendship on their jungle planet. However, it all changed when the Galra empire invaded their home planet and took the natives prisoner. And Mako and Kikori have never before endured so much torture in their lives. Kikori was treated like a slave and prisoner, while Honerva and her band of Druids routinely perform experiments on Mako, which Honerva saw as a means of revenge for Calesius splitting with her.
However, despite their struggles, they both prevailed in their own ways. Mako is rescued by the Paladins of Voltron and has joined them to fight for the galaxy. And Kikori was rescued by the team of rebels and dedicates er life to saving others from the Galra’s control.
