Description

The most powerful ship (in terms of firepower) in the Scientian Armada. Its primary weapon, a plasma mass accelerator cannon, is capable of firing plasma projectiles at near the speed of light. The hull of the dreadnought is dotted with both omni-directional laser emitters and missile pods. On each side of the side, situated in one of four shielded compartments, are a total of 12 turret batteries, each equipped with plasma, laser, and hard ammunition armaments.

Another revision of my previous work (and hopefully I'll be satisfied with this one). I completely overhauled the front half, and "rebuilding" that part of the SketchUp model in an attempt to make the ship reflect the Scientian species (ie less sinister/brutal). I did away with the large forked bow in favor of a smooth shell that narrows down to a point.
