"Each of the Guardian's reacts a bit differently to what is been called Apathy Mode. For most they behave just as it sounds; complete lack of emotion and disregard for mental or physical pain. There are some though that have very different results because of their core personalities. Some of them are incapable of it and simply look angry, others can mimic the appearance but can't fully smother their emotions enough to not show.
There are a few though who react violently to the action of suppressing their core nature.
Mikhail is one of them.
As a race incapable of lust the Guardians feel a more pure and greater form of love. However because of that they are also able to know a darker form of apathy, love's opposite.
Mikhail's pink aura shows that his strongest core attributes are love and compassion, so he has an even greater affinity for that emotion than the others. Smothering that much love ends up bringing him to a corrupted form of apathy that no longer stays within the range of a lack of emotion. He becomes crazed, violent . . . sadistic. On the outside he becomes just like the one he's fighting against.
But no one else sees how he truly is that way. Like chaining a child in a dark room with their nightmare Mikhail's soul screams just the same with no one to hear. His body rejects the treatment faster, collapsing as soon as the threat is no more, and he takes much longer to recover.
The first time it happened I didn't know what was going on exactly, I could just hear him through our link, which he was trying to block. Raphea was the one who brought him back unconscious, broken bones, bruises. He woke up in the middle of the night, waking me as well with a sudden surge of emotions and I saw what had happened as he mentally relived the nightmare.
They had healed his physical wounds mostly, but the ones of his heart would take much longer. When I went to him he was still in his bed, clinging to one of the pillows and shaking as though he were in the middle of a snowstorm in his pajamas. He was scared of everyone. Scared of what he'd done. Scared of it happening again and not being able to stop or control it.
I was never more grateful for the link we have than I was that night. We didn't have to say anything for him to know I understood and I wasn't going to run from him or lie to him.
It took him weeks to recover, and throughout that time he was very depressed, silent and clingy. He'd cuddle with anyone who let him, even Raphea spent a few hours with him each day.
I just pray it never happens again."

August 11th: Mikhail's been quite the attention hog these days. |D So I'm getting a lot of drawing of him instead of Emi now.
I don't mind though. =u=

October 13th: Beheeeh |D should have posted this a long time ago, but I wanted to get a picture of Mikhail's Apathy Mode up first so this one wasn't so confusing, buut . . . yeah never got around to it and need to post this before I get too ashamed of the old art feel of it.
So be confused.
