Beeehh, I've been typing too much I don't remember what exactly I wanted to say with this one.
I know i kept mentioning that Emiris used to have blonde hair and people kept asking if I was going to actually show him like that. So I drew this. Just a pic of all the different faces Emiris has (had).
Left: Blond hair and blue eyes. This is when he was bonded to Evah. Super happy and fun days, pretty easy going etc.
Right: Red hair, horns etc. This is the current him, bonded to Kel. Not as happy obviously.
Middle: This is what he really looks like. As mentioned in the basic Guardian info I have up, Guardian's DNA doesn't actually have pigment genes for any color besides their wings. Therefore they all have white/colorless eyes, hair, and skin. When they bond to someone they adopt the pigment genes from that person's DNA as their own until that person dies. (They can also exhibit the recessive gene that person might have, which is why Emiris's hair is red instead of black right now.) Usually if Guardians are ever seen unbonded they have a mask and hood covering them and keeping them from accidentally bonding with someone.
Aaaaanddd my mind is blank. :\
The wings are just kind of squished in there, dropped low and out of the way.

It is wonderful to finally be able to comment on this piece.
I wanted to wait until after our Drama-rama RP reached its zenith, because I didn't want to leave a possible paper trail for the image I was working on.
I absolutely love this. I adore the contrast not only in color, but in expression. I see a different phase in Emiris's psyche and life in each image. I think that is quite remarkable.
I love the bold tones, as well as the warm hair tones vs cooler color tones of his outfits. It creates a nice effect as your eyes bounce about the image.
Seeing Emiris in 'Evah' mode simply makes me smile.
I dont need to know why, to know why I like that about it ^_^

The 'Evah mode' makes me smile too, even though he looks a little weird to me, heheh. Probably just because I'm not used to it.
