I was told I needed to do fanservice for those who like Emi.
I don't approve of naked pictures or lolita, gender bending, crossdressing all that usual stuff you think of with 'fanservice' and I just did my kind of fanservice. Which is basically something that isn't necessarily canon but is still mostly in character and makes the fans happy.
Therefore you get Emi in modern clothes and an awkward pose like a postcard or something |D
I don't think he likes those clothes. Then again he's actually rather picky about which clothes he really likes but is tolerant enough to wear things that are slightly uncomfortable for him.

Yeah, they look nice I guess but they're really uncomfortable for him. They're not exactly designed for someone with wings and he's not really a big fan of belts with metal like that. |D
